Independence Day was Celebrated at GSFC University The day of India’s Independence is a day of pride, love and respect for our Nation. On this occasion, Shri P.K. Taneja, IAS (Retd.), President - GSFCU hoisted our National Flag and delivered the Independence Day Speech.
He informed in his speech that today’s Independence Day is of special significance as we celebrate the glorious 75 years of India’s independence as a “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” initiative by the Government of India. This Mahotsav is dedicated to the people of India, who have not only been instrumental in bringing India thus far in its evolutionary journey but also hold within them the power and potential to enable Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of activating India 2.0, fuelled by the spirit of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
Shri Ramesh Panchal, Director(Admin) & Registrar, Shri Mahesh Barot, Assistant Director (Admin)& Director-Campus, Deans, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff, students paid tribute to the nation and the freedom fighters of India. The celebration ends with performances by students about our Independence and the winners of G3QUIZ awarded for their diligence and determination. The “Science View” magazine was released during the event. The day brings the re-experiences of the spirit of patriotism and respect for the glorious past of our country.
