FirePlex-Agnisankul, a Unique and Exclusive facility for Fire Safety Students as well as professionals from the industry, inaugurated on September 23rd, 2023 at GSFC University Vadodara. A pioneer initiative of GSFC University and AAAG, the renowned manufacturer of Fire Equipment in the field of Fire & Environment, Health and Safety Training.

This Centre of Excellence for training in Fire & Safety is officially approved by the Director of Industrial Safety & Health (DISH), Government of Gujarat, under Section 111A of the Factories Act, 1948. Program started with the Plaque Unveiling Ceremony by the Chief Guest, followed by colorful display of unique Fire-Safety techniques by GSFC B.Tech Fire & Environment, Health, Safety students. Program was started with Ganesh Vandana, followed by the Welcome speech by Shri BB Bhayani Advisor, GSFU. The owner of AAAG Shri Mukesh Shah has also addressed the audience.

The Felicitation of Shri DD Purandhare (veteran fire professional) was done by Shri Mukesh Puri, IAS, MD, GSFC Ltd. and Felicitations of Contributors of FirePlex was done by Shri P.K Taneja, IAS(Retd.)-President GSFC University. Shri P.K. Taneja, IAS (Retd.), President GSFC University, in his Presidential address, thanked GSFC Ltd. Company for its contribution, in growth of GSFC University. He then highlighted the large gap in addressing the Fire Safety as a potential hazard and highlighted the GSFC UNIVERSITY’s intent to address this challenge as a Self-Sustained institution, as a contribution for the upliftment of society.

Chief Guest Shri Mukesh Puri, MD, GSFC ltd. in his Guest speech then appreciated the growth of GSFC University and highlighted that their progress ultimately reflects the growth of Brand GSFC. The program was ended by the Vote of thanks by Dr. Saurabh Shah, Dean-SOT, GSFCU and National Anthem in presence of the Members of Governing Body & Board of Management of GSFC University, Government Officials, Top Management of GSFC Ltd. & GSFC University, Industrialists, students and staff.

• Comprehensive Infrastructure: Located within GSFC University, FirePlex is complemented by a dedicated Fire and Safety laboratory, complete with a 150 person capacity auditorium, cafeteria, and canteen facilities, catering to the diverse training needs of professionals.
