GSFC University Commemorates National Fire Service Day 2022 for two subsequent days i.e. 12th & 13th April 2022, by paying homage to the 71 brave Fire Service personnel who lost their lives during Mumbai Dockyard massive explosion on April 14, 1944.The first day was observed by organizing a State Level Elocution, Quiz and Poster Competitions. GSFC University has raised awareness in the field of Fire and Life Safety by inviting and encouraging higher secondary school and undergraduate College & University students to participate in the Competitions. The Students of B.Tech. Fire & Environment, Health, Safety demonstrated Fire drills followed by Special fire rescue Vehicle demonstration by M/s Indus Fire Safety who also was one of the sponsors for the event.
The event was addressed by Dr. Nikhil Zaveri, Provost, GSFC University , Mr.CP Doshi, Adjunct Professor and inaugurated and addressed by Mr. Mukesh Shah, Managing Director, M/s Shah Bhogilal Jethalal. The event was graced by the enigmatic presence of the GSFC University Senior Management, Staff, Students and the Dignitaries. The events also included the expert talk by Mr. Sathish Kumar V-Head-HSEF, Reliance Ethane Pipeline Ltd. Mumbai.
The event’s last phase was the Valedictory & Prize distribution, done by Mr.Sujit Menon, Director-M/s Indus Fire Safety Pvt. Ltd. Vadodara. The event ended with Vote of Thanks and National Anthem.
