On 14th September 2019, Computer Science and Engineering Department, School of Technology, GSFC University organized one day workshop cum Hands on Training session on Website Development using Wordpress for 1st semester CSE students. The workshop was arranged with the support of Department of Science and Technology, Government of Gujarat and Redspark Technologies, Vadodara.
During the inauguration of the workshop, the presence of Shri P K Taneja, President, GSFC University and Dr. Nikhil Zaveri, Provost, GSFC University highly motivated the students to participate in this training session. The presence and active participation of DST officials Ms. Sangeetha Rangarajan, Assistant Director (IT) and Mr. Parimal Bhanderi, ICT Officer gave a boost to this event. They interacted with students and also gave different tasks to motivate them related to website development. They also shared their experience and knowledge with students by various interactive sessions during the day.
Mr. Dhruv Patel, Managing Director, Redspark Technologies and his team explained each and every basic concept of wordpress with examples and practical implementation. At the end of the event, students, DST officials and Technical Experts from Redspark Technologies shared their valuable feedback and all the guests were offered reward by GSFC University.
