Seed Fund Policy

Seed Fund Policy at GSFC University is designed to support the research initiatives of students and faculty, encouraging them to conduct research aligned with their courses and programs. It motivates the pursuit of innovative projects, pilot studies, and knowledge creation, serving as a foundation for applying for major grants. The policy emphasizes publishing findings in peer-reviewed journals and supports the patenting process for new processes, hardware, or software developments. It aligns with the NEP 2020 vision by promoting high-quality, research-driven learning, innovation, and industry collaboration. Each seed-funded project must include at least one student, with funding available up to INR 1.5 lakh per project.

Ethical Review and Clearance Board (ERCB)

The Ethical Review and Clearance Board (ERCB) at GSFC University is established to ensure the highest standards of ethical and methodological rigor in all research, projects, and institutional activities conducted under its purview. The ERCB is entrusted with the responsibility of reviewing, approving, and monitoring these activities to safeguard the rights, dignity, and welfare of all participants, while ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

Under the purview of the ERCB, the Ethical Review and Clearance Policy for Research Involving Human Subjects (Non-Invasive) and Sensitive Data has been framed. This policy aims to ensure that all research, projects, and institutional activities uphold ethical and methodological integrity. It is designed to protect the rights, dignity, and welfare of participants, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and maintain the highest ethical standards in all university-associated endeavors.
