On 25th September 2019, Computer Science and Engineering Department, School of Technology, GSFC University organized expert talk on “Data Science: How it is changing world” for first semester CSE students. The expert talk was delivered by Mr. Satyajit Karmakar, Data Analytics Specialist, Supply Chain Management Cell, GSFC Limited, Vadodara.
Mr. Satyajit discussed the importance of Data science as it a multi-disciplinary field that uses scientific methods, processes, algorithms and systems to extract knowledge and insights from structured and unstructured data.
