GSFC University always promote student managed clubs to give a platform where students can learn, organize and take responsibilities for managing activities of their interest. In this series “The C.O.D.E.” student club is inaugurated on 7th March 2020 in the presence of Dr Saurabh Shah, Dean, School of Technology, Dr Nishith Parikh, Associate Dean, School of Technology, and Ms Abhilasha Vyas, Program Coordinator CSE, School of Technology, GSFC University. The main objective of this club is to organize technical activities to spread awareness among students about emerging technologies and tools. On 7th March, 2020, “The C.O.D.E.” student club also organized a one day workshop on Android Application Development in association with WayToWeb Private Limited, Ahmedabad.

Android provides a rich application framework that allows us to build innovative apps and games for mobile devices in a Java language environment. The workshop timings was from 10.30am to 4.00pm and 35 students participated from various streams of GSFC University. At the end of the workshop students received certificate of participation and during the day they build small android applications. The students really enjoyed the workshop and learned to work and build android applications.
