GSFC University & i-HUB Gujarat welcomed Shri Krishan Pal Gurjar, Hon. Minister of State for Power and Heavy Industries, Government of India and Collector, Shri A.B. Gor at GSFC University Campus, Vadodara on 7th October 2022.
Shri Krishan Pal Gurjar interacted with Students, Start-ups and Innovators incubating at GSFC University Innovation, Incubation and Technology Applied Research (GUIITAR) Council- a Section 8 Company.
Total 20 Start-ups and 20 Student Projects at Proof of Concept level were being showcased. The start-ups and Students incubatees had displayed projects covering Green Energy, Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, Drones, Water conservation, Wastewater management, Defense technology, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
The major topic of discussion was around India's innovation path in the Power and Heavy Industries sector as our nation will be maintaining its dominance in the sector, and how path-breaking technology will be the light illuminating India's future over the coming decade with innovation and startups being at the center of its growth. The Hon. Minister also felicitated the startups and motivated them.
The Honorable Minister appreciated and encouraged the innovative ideas and startups of students in different categories and asked students to remain motivated about their ideas which will work towards illuminating the future of Bharat and will also help in fulfilling the Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
